Your heart will swell and your own body will both relax and tire with each page you turn, for it's impossible not to be with Ken and Steve on their journey, for themselves and for Make A Wish. Reading this book was a highlight of my life. Really! and go to the page of Charles W. Redman Jr., a deeply profound poet, writer and painter. Charles' the wand maker's character and what he does with wood (and honeysuckle roots) is featured in my children's book. On the cover of Out Of The Blue The Day Became Green is a picture of The Snake Charmer, the cane Charles carved from a walnut tree branch.
